Mr. Joseph Azzopardi FCCA, FIA, CPA, MBA (Warwick) was educated at Stella Maris College where he was scholarship student. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, holds a practicing warrant in auditing and is a graduate Master of Business Administration from Warwick Business School. He has worked in a big five audit firm both in Malta and overseas, lectured at the University of Malta in the Department of Management and was an advisory partner in a mid-tier audit firm. He currently manages his own practice, servicing a number of international clients.
Joseph was director of the Malta Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2015, where he also chaired the audit committee, andwas appointed as a member of the Financial Services Tribunal in 2015. In 1996 he co-authored a publication “A Director’s Guidebook to the Companies Act 1995”.
Dr. Nicholas Valenzia is a Maltese Lawyer who has been admitted to the Bar in 2006.
Since graduating Nicholas has worked on assignments relating to transport law and related banking, corporate and fiscal matters. Nicholas is a partner at MamoTCV Advocates and is currently the treasurer of the Malta Maritime Law Association.
Mr. Robert Ducker was educated at St. Joseph Rabat and St. Aloysius College. In 1998 he obtained an Associateship from The Chartered Institute of Bankers and a BSc Honours degree in Financial Services from The University of Manchester, Institute of Sciences &Technology.
His career has been mainly within the Financial Services industry. He worked at Bank of Valletta for 35 years and during this period he was assigned various executive level duties within the Bank. He worked as a Branch manager for three years and then moved on to Head Office where he was tasked with heading a number of units such as: Savings & Investments, Wealth Management, Procurement & Administration and Bancassurance.
For the last four years he has served as the chairman of the Housing Authority and is presently a substitute member to The Financial Services Tribunal.
